Science Toy Review

This is one pretty cool science kit. It basically comes with six oversized test tubes, with three or four experiments in each for a total of twenty cool science activities. The insta-worms were very cool. One of the tubes came with the stuff to make jelly crystals. They’re not quite the crystals you think of from the old crystal growing chemistry sets; they’re more of a fast-growing gel type. But still very fun and in this day of instant gratification, fast-growing crystals might be more fun anyway.

One of the other cool experiments in this kit is the “touchable bubbles.” They basically look like regular bubbles but they harden soon after making them. And they become hard enough that they don’t pop when landing on the ground, and you can hold them in your hand. For a little while anyway. They will end up shriveling after a few minutes, but not after you get some real hands-on science fun from them. Like all of the other Be Amazing! Lab-in-a-bag chemistry sets, this is one of the most fun science toys available.
