One in the series of Tedco Toys Ein-O Science Smart Boxes, this is one pretty cool toy. There are four primary science experiments you can do with one of these science kits. The first experiment deals with super-absorbant polymers, the kind used in diapers. Kids will learn how diapers work without getting poopy! Another experiment lets kids make sculptures with dry sand. Similar to the moon sand you may have heard of, you use dry sand and can actually mold it underwater.

There’s another experiment dealing with water tension which shows kids how to prevent a melting iceberg from overflowing (okay, so it’s done with an ice cube, but it’s pretty educational nonetheless). The fourth experiment has kids doing some scientific magic tricks with a dry cup. For the price, ($10-12) this is one of the better educational toys available. Of course, I think all of the Ein-O science kits are great toys.
